There are some bold claims being made by the California Greens Party. They say that very soon, within just a couple of decades, that everything will be ran completely by green solar power systems. According to them, there are two ways that this could play out.
The first is that solar energy and storage methods will be condensed, combined and concentrated. The second way they say it might happen is through the use of cheaper alternatives like solar PV and wind power. But either way they say, both hydro and biomass would have to be involved.
There are several proposals already in place and they run into double digit billions – from around $50 billion to roughly $60 billion. However, they also believe that the levelized cost of electric won’t cost more than renewable energy technology.
Sure, Australia is said to be at the top of the list when it comes down to places that are better-suited for natural, renewable energy. But the U.S. Isn’t far behind. The federal government, as well as state authorities, both realize the important role that solar power will play for future generations.
Already, there are plenty of programs in place to help homeowners and business owners make the move to solar power systems by offering rebates on both solar panel equipment and services. More and more Americans are realizing that doing so is a rewarding and much-needed investment if we’re going to provide a clean environment for generations to come.
